The Italian word ‘passata’ actually means sifted. La BIO IDEA Passata is made from sun-ripened Italian tomatoes. When optimally matured, they are picked and taken straight to the La BIO IDEA factory to be sorted, sieved, sterilized and bottled. Passata is the ideal base for tomato sauce or soup. La BIO IDEA Passata Basilico contains tomatoes, as well as basil, for an extra Italian touch.
