The first Ruby Valencia orange was discovered growing by chance. More have carefully been bred from that one tasty mutant, and we’ve managed to get our hands on a precious few. Try them while you can! 500g.
Ruby Valencia oranges are a beautiful scarlet inside – but don’t be fooled, these aren’t blood oranges. They are given their red jewel-like tint by lycopene, like red grapefruits, and have a grapefruit-y note to their unique flavour. They are also sweeter than most traditional oranges. A real, juicy treat.
